Job summary

Delta Workforce in Racine, WI is seeking a shakeout operator for an on-site aluminum castings foundry. You will separate castings from sand molds after pouring and cooling, operate shakeout equipment and vibrating tables, and move castings to the next production stage in a safe, hands-on environment.

This contract position offers first shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with a direct-hire opportunity after 520 hours.

Responsibilities

• Remove aluminum castings from sand molds after cooling.
• Operate shakeout equipment, vibrating tables, or other material handling equipment.
• Inspect castings for obvious defects such as cracks, incomplete fills, or damage.
• Transport castings and scrap materials using forklifts, hoists, or pallet jacks (if certified).
• Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and cleaning of foundry equipment.
