Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC in Michigan seeks a Foundry Production Manager to lead daily operations from melting through finishing, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost performance. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing supervisors and hourly teams, with accountability for OEE improvements, reduced scrap, and first-pass quality.

Qualifications

• Previous foundry manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience leading production teams and supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
• Experience improving productivity and operational performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and weekly production to meet customer demand.
• Supervise and develop production supervisors and hourly employees.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Reduce scrap and improve first-pass quality.
• Monitor production KPIs, labor efficiency, and throughput.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with Quality to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Manage raw material utilization and production efficiency.
• Analyze production performance and communicate results to leadership.
