Job summary

MT Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading industrial manufacturer to recruit a Manufacturing Operations Manager for its Lancaster, PA foundry. This hands-on role focuses on daily operations, safety, quality, and continuous improvement while leading supervisors and frontline teams on the plant floor.

You will drive production planning, lean initiatives, and performance metrics, partnering with senior leadership to build accountability and a culture of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading production teams in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across molding, melting and pouring, core room, shakeout, finishing, shipping, and receiving.
• Lead daily production meetings to review performance and implement solutions.
• Monitor labour hours, overtime, scrap, and quality.
• Ensure safety and quality targets are achieved.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering and Pattern Shop to reduce defects.
