Job summary

Orchid is seeking an Operations Technician II in Oregon City to operate forges and high temperature equipment for producing orthopedic implants components. You will be cross-trained across forging and finishing tasks, maintain production logs, and support quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work in a 80,000 sq ft FDA-registered site with Lean initiatives and strong teamwork. Prior manufacturing exposure is preferred; on-site work in Oregon City, OR is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred for some roles.
• 1+ year manufacturing experience required; additional operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain furnaces and casting operations as directed.
• Inspect and prepare molds, dewax, and pour alloys per schedule.
• Record production data and maintain logs accurately.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping per 5S guidelines.
• Assist in training and support lean manufacturing and quality initiatives.
