Job summary

Orchid in Oregon City is seeking an Operations Technician I, Finishing to perform grinding, buffing, trimming, and chemical treatment on orthopedic implants. You will operate cleaning lines, laser marking, inspection, and periodic maintenance while following 5S and QMS guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Or Equivalent (Preferred)
• No previous work experience required (Preferred)
• Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• Problem solving and quality inspection metrology tools proficiency

Responsibilities

• Operate auto and manual cleaning and passivation line.
• Operate laser marking equipment.
• Perform product cleaning and visual inspection.
• Perform cleaning operations of castings using sandblast equipment per tech card.
• Inspect and maintain blast cabinets, media, nozzles and hoses for proper cleaning.
• Use hand tools for grinding, deburring, or detailing per drawings.
• Determine proper media and machine settings from drawings.
