The role supports battery recycling across multiple stations including battery breaker, furnace, refining, casting and oxide processes. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of industrial machinery experience and a mechanical mindset. Positions available on 2nd and 3rd shifts with a competitive hourly wage and a $5,000

• Basic Reading Skills (interpret 1st piece inspection)
• Basic Math Skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Basic Computer Skills (interact with computer screens)
• Ability to communicate with co-workers

Responsibilities

• Battery Breaker: operates shredder, loads batteries, manages material flow.
• Furnace Operator: runs furnace, monitors weights, temps, and equipment, moves lead and molds.
• Refining Attendant: refines bullion, calculates additives, operates lead analysis equipment, maintains logs.
• Casting: controls molten lead flow, checks temperatures, stamps ingot lots, moves ingots with forklift.
• Oxide Operator: operates oxide mills, loads ingots, monitors temperatures and drafts
