Mueller Water Products is seeking a 2nd shift Foundry Mechanic in Decatur, IL to install, repair, and rebuild foundry machinery and related equipment. The role requires reading blueprints and diagrams, performing welding, and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• 4 years verifiable maintenance experience or schooling equivalent.
• Able to read blueprints, layouts, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
• Reline furnaces as required; set up and operate machine tools.
• Weld and fabricate as needed; install/maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and rebuild foundry machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Perform acetylene or electric welding and cutting operations.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems; ensure safety guidelines are followed.
