Job summary

Edelbrock Group seeks a Sr. Engineering Manager with foundry experience to lead the engineering department and advance manufacturing processes in the San Jacinto, CA plant.

You will drive strategic direction, manage NPI programs from concept to launch, and ensure robust, scalable tooling and processes. The role requires a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost, and maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance in a high-volume

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering required.
• 9+ years of experience in aluminum casting and machining.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and technical direction for engineering operations.
• Lead NPI from concept through launch with on-time delivery to customer requirements.
• Establish engineering standards for design, manufacturing methods, and gating systems.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Production, and Quality.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
• Oversee PFMEA development, risk mitigation, and process validation.
• Ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance and continual improvement.
• Oversee documentation, CAD standards, tooling and fixturing prints, and production documentation.
• Lead capital and manufacturing improvement initiatives with budgeting input.
• Monitor and drive engineering KPIs for efficiency and quality.
