Job summary

Durex Industries, a leading provider of thermal solutions, is seeking a Caster, Foundry Worker (1st Shift) to support mold preparation, aluminum handling, and equipment maintenance in our foundry. You will help ensure high-quality castings while following safety and process standards.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or with a team, and readiness for a fast-paced environment. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant training is a plus.
• Ability to read scales, rulers, blueprints and work orders accurately.
• Experience operating and maintaining foundry equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and preheat permanent and sand molds for casting.
• Melt metals to required temperatures and add alloys.
• Pour aluminum into molds and inspect finished castings.
• Maintain furnaces, molds, and melt shop equipment; keep a clean workstation.
• Record materials usage and monitor safety and quality standards.
