Qualifications

• Senior engineering leadership experience, ideally founding or first-engineer role.
• Hands-on design and shipping of production web platforms.
• Working knowledge of health information privacy and security requirements.
• Experience with healthcare data exchange standards a strong plus.
• Comfort operating with limited resources in a pre-launch company.

Responsibilities

• Own platform architecture and product roadmap.
• Set engineering standards, code review practices, and release discipline.
• Design and maintain safeguards that protect health information.
• Own access controls, session handling, and encryption practices.
• Lead security reviews of third-party vendors and services.
• Architect data exchange with partner clinics and provider record systems.
• Own electronic visit verification and field data reliability.
• Plan infrastructure, monitoring, and uptime as usage grows.
• Represent technical architecture in partner and investor diligence reviews.
• Build and lead the engineering function as funding allows.
