Job summary

SWGA Homecare in the United States is seeking a Founding VP of Operations & Care Delivery to design and implement the operating playbook, scheduling discipline, and caregiver workforce engine from the ground up.

You will own shift coverage, onboarding throughput, visit verification, incident response, and margin management, enabling county-by-county growth across Southwest Georgia. This is an entrepreneurial, remote, part-time/contractor leadership role reporting directly to the founder.

Qualifications

• Operations leadership experience in field-workforce or multi-site business.
• Experience in home care, home health, hospice, or staffing preferred.
• Proven track record improving coverage and utilization metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own shift coverage, scheduling discipline, and caregiver utilization.
• Reduce uncovered shifts, call-outs, and last-minute schedule gaps.
• Own caregiver hiring throughput from application to first shift.
• Build caregiver retention, training pathways, and support practices.
• Own visit verification, documentation completeness, and supervisory visit cadence.
• Run incident reporting, escalation, and audit readiness.
• Write the operating playbook used to open each new service county.
• Manage labor cost, overtime, and margin per care hour alongside finance.
• Build and lead the operations team as the company grows.
