Job summary

Fleetio is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager, Engineering, to stand up and scale our delivery discipline across Solutions Engineering and Platform Engineering. This remote, day-zero role focuses on defining how world-class project management operates inside our product and engineering organization.

You will drive complex, cross-functional initiatives for enterprise accounts, lead stakeholder alignment, and deliver measurable impact for major customers while collaborating with Customer

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical project or program delivery experience.
• Proven ability to run multiple complex projects in parallel.
• Strong facilitation and executive communication skills.
• Experience delivering enterprise software, SOW-based or custom engagements.
• Ability to define PM practices in a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as founding PM for the Engineering organization, establishing cadence and reporting from day one.
• Drive delivery of Solutions Engineering projects for strategic enterprise accounts, including custom plans and SI/SOW engagements.
• Facilitate SOW inception: ensure proper scope, deliverables, estimation, milestones and accountability.
• Support Platform Engineering with milestone tracking, risk management, and clear stakeholder communication.
• Deliver weekly business updates to executive leadership, including VP of Engineering and directors.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Solutions Consulting to drive clear expectations and strong business cases; join customer calls when needed.
• Establish and maintain a clear communication plan for every project to keep stakeholders aligned.
• Assess PM tooling and recommend long-term setups with support teams for configuration.
