Job summary

Thomas Talent Network, LLC is seeking a Founding Recruiter in San Francisco to own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to closing. You will partner with founders and hiring managers across engineering, marketing, and sales, building pipelines and defining hiring strategies in a hands-on, early-stage environment.

You will grow into a Head of Recruiting as the company scales, shaping the future recruiting function and processes while maintaining a strong candidate experience and ATS

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience across technical and business roles.
• Experience recruiting at startups or agencies serving startups.
• Being among first 1–3 recruiters at a company or a top performer at a startup-focused agency.
• Bachelor’s degree from a US or Canadian university.
• Strong hands-on sourcing, esp. LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Ability to independently build, manage, and activate candidate pipelines.
• High ownership in early-stage environment.
• Willingness to work in person five days per week at the SF office.
• Excellent communication, organization, and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and business functions from sourcing to closing.
• Build recruiting and sourcing infrastructure from the ground up.
• Develop high-quality candidate pipelines using modern tools.
• Create AI-forward workflows to engage candidates faster.
• Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to define roles and strategies.
• Deliver exceptional candidate experience from outreach to close.
• Establish recruitment processes, playbooks, and interview docs.
• Maintain ATS hygiene and improve operations.
