Reporting to the CSO, this role will establish a market intelligence center of excellence, turning tribal knowledge into structured insights for strategy, growth, and M&A.

The person will engage with customers, industry experts, executives and the Board, lead research, and leverage AI tools to speed analysis, delivering clear, data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• MBA required; recent graduates through ~4 years of post-MBA experience encouraged to apply
• Technical undergraduate degree (engineering, sciences) a plus
• Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, or equity research preferred
• Industrial / B2B market exposure a plus; filtration, materials, or advanced manufacturing especially valuable

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Hollingsworth & Vose's Market Intelligence Center of Excellence
• Develop structured intelligence on core markets and expand coverage into adjacencies
• Serve as a thought partner on the Long Range Plan with market context and risks
• Support M&A through target screening, market/competitive analysis, and diligence inputs
• Engage with customers and industry experts to validate hypotheses and sharpen POV
• Prepare executive materials translating data into clear recommendations
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research and insights
