Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose is building a Strategy Office and seeks a Manager, Strategy & Market Intelligence to establish a market intelligence center of excellence. You will work directly with the CSO and leading executives on the long-range plan, growth opportunities, and potential acquisitions.

The role requires an MBA, a technical background, and experience in corporate strategy or equity research. Hybrid work from East Walpole, MA with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• MBA required; post-MBA experience encouraged.
• Technical undergraduate degree (engineering or sciences) a plus.
• Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, or equity research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Market Intelligence Center of Excellence with market, customer, competitor, and macroeconomic insights.
• Develop structured intelligence on core markets: sizing, growth, segmentation, trends, competitive landscape; expand to adjacencies.
• Support M&A through target screening, market/competitive analysis, valuation, and diligence inputs.
• Engage with customers, industry experts, and trade associations to validate hypotheses and sharpen viewpoints.
• Prepare executive- and board-level materials translating data into actionable recommendations.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role will establish a market intelligence center of excellence — turning what is today tribal knowledge into structured, dynamic insights that inform business decisions, innovation, the long range plan, and M&A activity. The role starts with H&V’s core markets and expands into adjacencies and growth opportunities.
