Job summary

Yora Nordic Spa is opening a new facility in 2026 and seeks a Massage Supervisor to lead the founding wellness team. This full-time on-site role coordinates daily massage operations, schedules, and rooms to ensure seamless guest experiences from launch.

Qualifications

• Two to four or more years of supervisory, scheduling or operational experience in spa, wellness, hospitality, healthcare, recreation or another appointment-based service environment.
• Experience creating employee schedules and coordinating daily staffing.
• Strong understanding of capacity management, appointment scheduling and resource utilization.
• Experience forecasting business demand and adjusting staffing accordingly.
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing and supply ordering.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee performance.
• Strong organizational, numerical, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Comfort using scheduling, booking, POS, inventory and Microsoft Office systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily Massage operation, including treatment schedules, Therapist availability and room assignments.
• Build and maintain Massage Therapist schedules based on forecasted treatment demand.
• Monitor appointment availability, treatment capacity and room utilization throughout the day.
• Adjust schedules proactively in response to demand, call-outs, cancellations and changes in volume.
• Coordinate with the Front Desk to manage appointment changes, Therapist availability and guest needs.
• Ensure treatment rooms, products, linens, equipment and supplies are ready for scheduled treatments.
• Monitor daily task lists and ensure opening, closing, cleaning, documentation and operational responsibilities are completed.
• Maintain required operational, licensing, certification and departmental documentation.
• Manage treatment-product and operating-supply inventory, ordering and established par levels.
• Support Massage Therapist recruitment, candidate coordination, onboarding and orientation.
• Partner with the Massage Therapist Trainer on technical assessments, treatment training and competency sign-offs.
• Set clear expectations and provide day-to-day coaching related to attendance, schedule adherence, room readiness and workplace performance.
• Prepare short-and longer-term forecasts and use scheduling, occupancy, productivity and inventory data to improve performance.
• Respond promptly to guest, equipment, maintenance, staffing and safety issues that could disrupt the treatment experience.
