Job summary

Yora Nordic Spa is opening in November 2026 and seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join the founding team. You will help prepare and care for clean, calm spaces that welcome guests and ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the day.

The role is full-time, on-site with flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays during the pre-opening and opening periods. Prior housekeeping or guest-service experience is an asset.

The Opportunity

The Housekeeping Attendant will be part of Yora's founding Housekeeping team, helping prepare and care for the clean, calm and beautifully presented spaces that will welcome Yora Nordic Spa's first guests in November 2026. This role is anticipated to start between mid- and late October 2026.

This is a hands-on role for someone who notices what needs attention and takes pride in restoring it quickly. Through thoughtful cleaning, sanitizing, restocking and linen care, the Housekeeping Attendant helps every guest experience Yora as comfortable, cared for and ready throughout the day.

What You Will Do

• Clean, sanitize, restock and restore assigned guest-facing and back-of-house areas to Yora's standards.
• Maintain change rooms, washrooms, relaxation spaces, pool decks, circulation areas and other assigned spaces throughout the day.
• Complete scheduled walkthroughs and resolve cleanliness or presentation concerns before they affect guests.
• Turn over lockers efficiently while maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
• Keep towels, linens, guest amenities and supplies available when and where they are needed.
• Follow assigned cleaning routines, departmental checklists and deep-cleaning schedules.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping, linen and storage areas.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies according to established levels.
• Handle linens, cleaning products, chemicals, tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all sanitation, health, safety and workplace procedures.
• Identify spills, hazards, damaged equipment and maintenance concerns and respond or report them immediately.
• Complete assigned opening, operating and closing responsibilities accurately and on time.
• Interact with guests warmly and professionally while completing work discreetly in occupied areas.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Desk and other departments to keep spaces guest-ready.

What You Bring

• Previous housekeeping, spa, hotel or guest-service experience is an asset but is not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional cleanliness.
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
• The ability to remain organized while managing multiple cleaning and guest-area priorities.
• A warm and professional approach when interacting with guests.
• The ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment after receiving required training.
• A self-motivated working style and the ability to recognize what needs attention without always being directed.
• Reliability, good judgment and pride in creating calm, clean and restorative spaces.
• First Aid and CPR certification are considered assets.

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site position that requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business and operational needs. Additional flexibility will be required during the pre-opening and opening periods.

Physical And Work Environment Requirements

This is an active position requiring work throughout indoor and outdoor spa areas, including change rooms, washrooms, relaxation spaces, pool decks, circulation areas, storage areas and other guest-facing and back-of-house spaces. The role involves extended periods of standing and walking; frequent bending, reaching and twisting; climbing stairs; kneeling and crouching; pushing and pulling housekeeping carts and equipment; lifting and carrying routine linens, supplies and cleaning materials; and repetitive hand and arm movements associated with cleaning and sanitizing. Employees may encounter cleaning products and chemicals, fragrances, dust, humidity, steam, moisture, changing temperatures, outdoor weather conditions and wet or slippery surfaces. Work requires the safe use and movement of cleaning products, tools, equipment, linens and supplies through occupied guest areas. Appropriate safety procedures and protective equipment must be used when required. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
