Engage PSG Search is helping a fast-growing AI-native startup in New York/remote expand its commercial engine. We seek a Founding Sales Director who will own revenue generation from day one, build the go-to-market playbook, and lead complex enterprise deals with hedge funds and asset managers.

This is a true founder-facing, ownership-driven role requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, deep institutional-investor insight, and the ability to operate without an inherited sales machine.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of new-business sales experience, ideally in data/AI or capital markets.
• Proven ability to generate pipeline and close complex enterprise deals.
• Experience selling into hedge funds, asset managers or institutional investors.

Responsibilities

• Own net-new revenue by engaging hedge funds and institutional clients.
• Build pipeline from day one through targeted prospecting and events.
• Run full-cycle enterprise sales from outreach to close, including demos and trials.
• Influence GTM strategy and help shape the commercial foundations for scale.
