Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment seeks a Founding Product & GTM Lead for a Series A-backed AI company transforming mechanical engineering and 3D CAD. Build the go-to-market strategy from the ground up; define ICP, close early deals, shape the product roadmap, and bring a category-defining AI product to market.

You’ll work directly with founders with significant ownership and equity, close early commercial deals, and help steer product direction in a fast-moving startup in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of product management experience in manufacturing, industrial software, CAD/CAE/PLM, or aerospace & defense.
• Proven experience building or scaling a GTM strategy from scratch.
• Strong customer-facing sales and deal-closing experience.
• Experience working with manufacturers, engineers, machine shops, or industrial buyers.
• Familiarity with professional CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, Onshape, or Fusion.
• Strong technical ability, ideally including Python or C++.
• Excellent communication, presentation, strategic thinking, and ownership.
• Comfortable operating hands-on in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the GTM strategy from ground up.
• Collaborate with founders to define ICP and roadmap.
• Close early commercial deals and drive initial revenue.
• Represent customers' needs in product and GTM decisions.
• Own the product and go-to-market alignment.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a Series A-backed AI company pioneering generative AI for mechanical engineering and 3D CAD. Their proprietary foundation models are designed to transform how engineers create and work with physical products, with their first product already attracting 100K+ users.

They are now entering a major commercialization phase and are looking for a Founding Product & GTM Lead to build their go-to-market strategy from the ground up.

What We’re Looking For

Benefits & Compensation

• $200K–$300K base salary
• Up to$300K–$450K total compensation withequity and performance bonus
