Wakefield is an applied research lab building AI-native security services. As our first designer, you will own how everything looks and feels—from the console to the design system, reports, and the Wakefield brand and website.

You will work with security engineers and leaders to translate complex security concepts into clear, actionable visuals. This role requires hands-on design of a cohesive product experience in a fast-growing startup environment in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio of shipped product work with precise visual and interaction craft.
• Experience at a fast-growing startup.
• Built design systems, brand, or both from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own the look and feel of the console, the design system, the reports, and the Wakefield brand/website.
• Create and maintain a single design system across products.
• Produce designs for the console and website and iterate with feedback from users and engineers.
