Job summary

Pi Security seeks an experienced Product Designer to shape the agentic security platform at an early stage. You’ll own core surfaces, translate complex security workflows into fast, trustworthy interfaces, and work closely with product and engineering to ship polished UI.

The role emphasizes hands-on interaction and visual design, with collaboration alongside the founding team in a 100% onsite SF office. You’ll contribute to a design system and help evolve the product’s visual language.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of product design experience with complex, workflow-heavy products.
• Portfolio showing strong systems thinking for information-dense or enterprise products.
• Fluency in dashboards, tables, filters, detail views, and multi-step workflows.
• Comfort collaborating with engineers on implementation details and trade-offs.
• Nice to have experience contributing to or evolving a design system.

Responsibilities

• Own product design for Pi's core surfaces — findings, investigations, remediation workflows, dashboards, and the Sloane assistant experience — from concept through shipped detail.
• Turn dense, technical security contexts into fast, trustworthy interfaces.
• Translate ambiguous product direction into concrete flows, prototypes, and polished UI.
• Design within and extend the product's visual language and components with frontend engineers (React, Next.js).
• Run discovery with customers and stakeholders — interviews, shadowing, usability tests — to ground decisions.
