Job summary

depthfirst is building intelligent security agents to detect and remediate vulnerabilities across large codebases. We are seeking a Designer to shape how our products work and how the company presents itself to the world.

This flexible role may focus on product, brand, or both, with strong craft, judgment, and problem-solving at the core. You will design experiences, translate complex ideas for clarity, and contribute across websites, launches, campaigns, and editorial content.

Qualifications

• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and thoughtful problem-solving in product design, brand design, or both.
• Strong visual design fundamentals and close attention to detail.
• The ability to turn complex or technical ideas into clear, intuitive experiences or compelling visual stories.
• A high level of ownership and comfort working through ambiguity.
• Strong collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design product experiences from brief to polished execution, helping users understand and act on complex code security.
• Translate AI and security concepts into clear, engaging experiences.
• Create brand work across website, launches, campaigns, sales materials, events, editorial content.
• Build and evolve product and brand systems for speed without sacrificing quality.
• Prototype and iterate to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, product, research, marketing, GTM teams.
• Contribute beyond your discipline when beneficial, with team support.
