Job summary

ABB is seeking an Order-to-Delivery Business Lead to own on-time, in-full delivery for a high-volume manufacturing line. You will partner with an SAP solution lead as equals to fix root causes and set priorities across plants, distribution centers, and SAP teams.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada with travel to plants, centers and the Cary, NC office, aligning with North American time zones and the Installation Products business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing or distribution with planning, scheduling, inventory, fulfillment or operations.
• 3+ years accountable for an operational result (e.g., on-time in-full, fill rate, promise accuracy).
• Experience following an order from demand to shipment across plants and distribution centers.

Responsibilities

• Own on-time, in-full delivery end to end for a high-volume manufacturing business.
• Identify root causes for missed orders using data and fix underlying issues.
• Set priorities for fixes, builds, or changes to stock allocation and processes.
• Lead change across plants, distribution centers and system teams.
• Run short experiments (1–2 months) and scale what moves the metric.
• Report results honestly to business leaders, including what’s not working.
