Magic in New York City is seeking a founding operations hire to build and scale internal processes across business operations, finance, and strategic initiatives. This generalist role requires a self-starter who thrives on clarity and action.

You will work in our SoHo office five days a week, own key projects from start to finish, and help implement compliant, scalable systems. We offer a competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Clear and strong communicator.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to balance multiple projects.
• Bias toward action.
• Experience in a previous ops role, or in consulting or banking, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take on strategic projects and own them end to end.
• Oversee the finance and reporting function.
• Keep us compliant, from paperwork to processes.
• Own and develop internal processes as we scale across multiple functions.
