Power Public Schools is launching an operations-led role to build the foundational systems for a new charter school in Mableton, GA. The Director of Operations will own enrollment, facilities, HR, and financial administration, reporting to the Founder & Executive Director, and partnering with the CFO and consultants.

The role requires 3–5+ years in operations, finance, or nonprofit management, and offers a hybrid work model with a strong emphasis on equity and execution for the August 2027

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in operations, finance, or nonprofit management.
• Experience launching or scaling operations in a startup or charter school context.
• Ability to design and implement systems with equity-centered judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end enrollment and registration processes for families.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments with internal controls.
• Manage facilities, campus operations, transportation, safety, and daily logistics.
• Coordinate HR, payroll inputs, benefits, and onboarding in partnership with HR consultants.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting with the CFO and leadership.
• Establish procurement workflows and asset management for campus needs.
• Drive opening-readiness approvals, compliance, and safety documentation.
