Frontline Wildfire Defense is seeking an IT & Security Lead to own IT and cybersecurity for our fully remote workforce. You will run day-to-day IT operations, administer our systems and SaaS tools, manage the full hardware lifecycle, and lead the company’s security program, keeping our team productive and our data protected as we scale.

You will report to the VP of Business Operations. This is a founding IT role with latitude to build processes, select tools, and establish the security posture

Qualificações

• 7+ years in IT operations, systems administration, and/or IT security.
• Experience supporting a fully remote workforce.
• Hands‑on administration of SaaS and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, and Slack.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
• Experience with IAM, MFA, endpoint protection, and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (SOC 2, NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and with audits.
• Experience managing IT vendors and budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Own IT operations across the organization and serve as the central point of contact for IT needs.
• Build and scale IT processes, documentation, and SOPs to keep pace with growth.
• Own company-wide SaaS governance, licenses, and access control as headcount grows.
• Drive cost optimization by identifying redundant tools and negotiating with vendors.
• Select and manage external IT vendors and service providers, including SLAs and renewals.
• Provide hardware forecasting, budget insights, and operational reporting to leadership.
• Recommend and implement tools and process improvements to boost productivity and security.
