Job summary

Wisteria seeks an HR Generalist to join its founding team onsite in Woodland Hills, CA. The role focuses on recruitment, benefits coordination, employee relations, and policy administration to support a growing CCRC opening in 2026.

The position requires 3–5 years HR experience, a relevant degree is a plus, and offers a comprehensive benefits package with significant development opportunities. Compensation ranges from $33.00 to $36.25 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three to five years human resources experience, preferably in a customer service environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal labor regulations, personnel administration, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, recruiting and selection, and training and development.
• Excellent customer service skills. Must display a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude toward the Residents, other employees, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Develops recruitment strategies ensuring qualified employees are recruited and hired in a cost effective and timely manner.
• Confers with hiring managers regarding candidates.
• Conducts New Hire Orientation that fosters a positive first impression of the company.
• Coordinates benefits enrollment activities – including updating HRIS as appropriate. Maintains company health/benefit enrollments.
• Reviews and submits all Workers Compensation reports and manages injury logs.
• Handles the full cycle of all employee leave of absences in collaboration with the HR Director.
• Tracks and maintains certification, licensure, and work permit expirations.
• Completes exit documentation and processing for all terminated employees and conducts exit interviews.
• May assist with employee relations issues and with development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
