Job summary

H Company, a pioneering AI research and product company, seeks a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy agentic AI for real-world tasks and outcomes.

You will work with customers to identify automation opportunities, architect scalable services, and collaborate with product, research, and engineering to shape the roadmap. This role involves field work and on-site engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional AI + software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML systems and agentic workflows.
• Fluent in Python; familiarity with TypeScript.
• Backend (FastAPI) and frontend (React/Next.js) experience.
• Experience building production APIs, services, and data pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and excellent communication; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify the most impactful multi-step tasks to automate.
• Integrate with customer systems and APIs securely.
• Iterate in field with tight feedback loops to improve product fit.
• Architect and maintain production-grade services that scale.
