Job summary

H Company is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to design and implement autonomous AI solutions for customer deployments. You will work closely with product, research, and engineering teams to translate field learnings into scalable platform capabilities.

The role emphasizes delivering production-grade services, integrating with customer systems, and operating across frontend/back-end stacks, with travel to on-site deployments as needed. Strong Python and TS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional AI + software engineering experience in fast-paced environments
• Experience with AI/ML systems, especially integrating LLMs into real products
• Heavy fluency in Python and familiarity with Typescript
• Experience building and deploying production systems: APIs, services, infrastructure, data pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in ambiguous, customer-facing environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication; willingness to travel for on-site deployments or customer engagements

Responsibilities

• Understand and identify customer’s most important multi-step task to automate
• Seamlessly integrate with customer systems and external tools and databases
• Iterate in the field with tight feedback loops to improve product fit
• Architect, build, and maintain production-grade services that scale
• Collaborate with product, research, and engineering to shape roadmap based on field findings
