Confidential Early-Stage AI Company seeks a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of customers, product, AI, and engineering. This highly client-facing role works directly with investment professionals to translate complex workflows into practical AI and software solutions.

You will own relationships, understand how customers operate across sourcing, diligence, investment workflows, and fund finance, and prototype deployments using modern AI tooling. Equity is included.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and AI tooling.
• Familiarity with APIs and integrations.
• Understanding of SQL and data workflows.
• Exposure to LLMs and generative AI concepts.
• Interest in AI agents and autonomous workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own relationships with sophisticated financial services and private markets customers.
• Collaborate with investment professionals and senior stakeholders to map workflows.
• Translate business problems into AI and software solutions.
• Prototype and implement solutions using modern AI tooling.
• Work with engineering/product teams to ensure robust solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand deployments and deepen relationships.
• Feed cross-customer insights back into product development.
• Help establish a playbook for a new strategic function in a startup.
