Job summary

Confidential is an early-stage AI company building software to automate wholesale operations for consumer goods brands. The founding team seeks a forward-deployed engineer to own customer integrations end-to-end from discovery to deployment.

You will build and maintain integrations with ERPs, warehouse systems, freight platforms, and EDI providers, collaborate directly with customers to map data, and design event-driven workflows and data pipelines across diverse stacks.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Strong TypeScript skills and experience building production integrations using APIs, data mapping, EDI, middleware, or ETL.
• Experience owning end-to-end data integrations and designing data mappings for misaligned systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations with customer ERPs, warehouse systems, freight platforms, and EDI providers.
• Meet customers to understand workflows, gather requirements, and map data between systems.
• Develop event-driven workflows, webhooks, and data pipelines across customer technology stacks.
