Job summary

Alexander Chapman Ltd is seeking a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer for a well-funded, early-stage AI startup with a product already live at enterprise customers.

You’ll embed with customers on-site, write real software, and build the integrations that connect it to whatever systems the customer runs. This role requires turning messy customer requirements into working products and delivering production-ready solutions.

I’m hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer for a well-funded, early-stage AI startup with a product already live at large enterprise customers.

You’ll embed with customers on-site and get the product running in the real world. That means writing real software and building the integrations that connect it to whatever systems the customer runs.

What you’ll bring:

• 1 to 5 years as a forward deployed, solutions or implementation engineer who ships code
• Integration experience connecting enterprise systems (ERP, ticketing, knowledge bases) through APIs, webhooks and ETL
• Agentic AI or RAG features you’ve built yourself
• The ability to turn messy customer requirements into working product

Nice to have: experience deploying into complex or legacy enterprise environments, and turning pilots into production rollouts.
