Plexus Resource Solutions is building next-generation cross-chain FX and settlements infrastructure in New York. The Founding Engineer will join at the ground floor to architect and implement the core platform from scratch in a Rust-based stack.

You’ll shape protocols with the founders, ship production systems, and leverage AI-native workflows to accelerate development using ZK and Solidity. Relocation to NYC or NYC-based work is encouraged, equity negotiable.

Plexus has partnered with a new client building next-generation financial infrastructure at the intersection of AI, financial markets, and blockchain.

They’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join at the ground floor and help architect and build the core platform from scratch.

The Role

• Design and build core infrastructure across financial markets, settlement, and blockchain.
• Shape protocol and system architecture alongside the founders.
• Ship production-grade systems, primarily in Rust, with ZK and Solidity also relevant.
• Use AI-native workflows and agentic orchestration to dramatically accelerate development.
• Own problems end-to-end, from architecture through production.

What They’re Looking For:

• NYC-based or willing to relocate.
• AI-native: experienced using multiple AI agents in parallel to increase engineering velocity.
• Founder mentality or experience solving genuinely hard technical problems.
• Strong systems background; Rust is the primary language.
• Experience in areas such as HFT, DeFi, compilers, kernels, or other high-complexity systems is highly relevant.
