Plexus Resource Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Rust Backend Engineer to join a Solana-native data and trading infrastructure team, with real-time on-chain data and AI-driven workflows. You will work on core data pipelines, low-latency services, and deploy AI-enabled trading tools.
This remote role covers Canada, the US and South America, with Vancouver as a preference; Europe is also considered. Equity may be offered for senior hires, and the team is small with direct impact.

With no outside funding needed since their seed round, they are a small, AI-first team where every engineer has real ownership. They are hiring a Rust Backend Engineer to work alongside the technical lead on the systems that power their platform.
Maintain and improve the core data pipelines and trading infrastructure behind live and historical on-chain data
Deploy and manage AI-driven trading bots in production
Work across liquidity, the price engine and Solana pool integrations
Reduce latency across gRPC and WebSocket services
Design and tune database schemas for high-volume, real-time data
Use AI tooling as a core part of how you build and ship
Strong backend engineering experience in Rust
Hands-on Solana experience, professionally or through your own projects
Experience with gRPC and WebSockets
Solid understanding of database schema design and performance tuning
Comfortable working with AI tools day to day and able to show how you use them
ClickHouse
Trading, DEX or market data infrastructure experience
Low-latency or high-throughput systems
CAD $135k to $170k base depending on experience
Remote across Canada, the US and South America, with Vancouver preferred. Europe considered
