Weave is building a platform to measure and improve engineering work using AI. We’re seeking a Founding Developer Advocate who acts as the voice of engineering users, owning the Weave Router and producing demos, content, and community engagement to drive adoption.

You will work closely with our CTO and CEO, shipping code-oriented demos, building an active developer community, and shaping the roadmap with feedback from engineers across the industry.

Qualifications

• You are an engineer first and still write production code.
• You write exceptionally well and produce audience-facing content.
• You have built an audience or community around your work.
• You live the AI coding shift and work with AI tooling daily.
• You care about how engineering is measured (DORA, SPACE, DevEx).
• The role requires 5 days in SF office with regular travel to meetups/conferences.

Responsibilities

• Build in public: ship demos, integrations, plugins and sample projects on top of Weave and the Weave Router.
• Own the Weave Router community: issues, PRs, releases, docs, contributors.
• Write deep technical content: tutorials, benchmarks, integration guides for engineers.
• Own developer experience: ensure integrations are fast to adopt and docs/SDKs are solid.
• Show up where engineers are: meetups, hackathons, livestreams, podcasts, and social channels.
• Feed the community feedback into product to sharpen the roadmap.
• Partner with marketing and sales to support launches with credible technical storytelling.
• Be flexible: shipping plugins, recording demos, triaging router issues, debugging live.
