Job summary

Weave is building a cutting-edge platform to help engineering teams understand and improve how they work. As the founding product engineer, you will own the product and technical foundation from day one, collaborating with the CTO and CEO to shape the product and the company.

You’ll work hands-on across backend, frontend, and infrastructure, with a focus on practical, customer-driven outcomes. This role is based in SF with a startup culture that rewards initiative and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Talk to customers to understand their pain points and requests.
• Design and plan potential solutions.
• Write the backend for a new feature.
• Write the frontend for a new feature.
• Provision the infrastructure to support a new feature.
• Release the feature and collect customer feedback on it.
• Find a hacky fix to solve a bug quickly.
• Find a great fix to solve a bug and eliminate future bugs too.
• This role is 5 days in office in SF.
