Job summary

Mate, Inc. is seeking a founding Chief Operating Officer to lead operational strategy, growth execution, and scalable expansion across campuses.

This zero-to-one leadership role builds systems from scratch and launches first at Purdue, then expands campus-by-campus through a structured event model. • Proven ability to design scalable processes and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead campus launch strategy and expansion roadmap.
• Develop ambassador and community growth systems.
• Oversee event operations, scheduling infrastructure, and quality control.
• Create KPI dashboards and growth metrics to guide decisions.
• Optimize funnel from waitlist to events to retention and repeat usage.
• Forging strategic partnerships with student orgs and campus groups.
• Hire operational leadership as the company scales.
• Coordinate with founder and CTO to align product, growth, and execution.
