Job summary

Wrstbnd seeks a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to lead the next growth phase and scale operating capabilities. The role reports to the CEO and works closely with the Board to drive strategic execution, governance, and performance accountability across all corporate functions.

The COO will oversee finance, HR, IT, legal, risk, project management, and operations for hundreds of live events annually, ensuring staffing, logistics, and inventory meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a senior operations leader (COO or equivalent).

Job description

The client is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly collaborative Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help lead the next stage of growth and scale. The COO will report directly to the Board of Directors and serve as a key partner to the CEO, providing senior executive leadership across business operations. The role is expected to be highly hands-on and visible, with a strong focus on operational rigor, cross-functional alignment, and performance accountability in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment.

The COO will oversee corporate functions including finance, human resources, recruiting/talent acquisition, information technology, legal and risk management, project management, and operational administration. responsibilities include translating strategy into execution, establishing scalable operating frameworks and governance, and implementing KPIs and performance management processes to improve accountability, forecasting, resource allocation, and cross-functional execution. The COO will also help professionalize and scale the organization while preserving an entrepreneurial mindset, agility, and a client-centric culture.

In addition, the COO will provide executive oversight of the operational infrastructure supporting hundreds of live events annually, ensuring excellence across staffing, logistics, inventory management, hardware deployment, event readiness, and onsite execution. The role will drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, scalability, service quality, and client satisfaction, while also supporting supply chain, procurement, warehouse operations, and inventory-related hardware logistics. The COO will serve as a key liaison to stakeholder groups associated with The client’s broader parent organization, leveraging additional resources while maintaining independence, speed, and innovation.
