Porter is hiring its first dedicated Security Engineer in NYC to champion cloud security across the stack. The role blends software engineering with security, building production-grade features for customers while strengthening internal defenses.

You will lead the Secure Engineering team and drive security initiatives, partnering with engineers to embed secure practices and scalable guardrails throughout the platform.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with unit and integration testing for reliable deployments.
• Strong system design, architecture, and API development skills.

Responsibilities

• Found our Secure Engineering team, comprised of security-focused engineers and rotating members.
• Drive our internal security roadmap and champion security best practices across the team.
