Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an innovative osteopathic physician educator to serve as Founding Chair of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OMM/OPP). This open-rank, tenure-track appointment includes department leadership and administrative responsibilities.

The chair will develop and operationalize the OMM/OPP curriculum across all four years, mentor faculty and students, collaborate with other COM disciplines,

Qualificações

• Terminal degree (DO or MD) with US licensure.
• Three years of academic teaching experience at an osteopathic medical school.
• Active, unrestricted medical licensure and board certification in OMM or CSPOMM.
• Proven curricula development experience in osteopathic medical education.
• Leadership and administrative experience in medical education.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and integrate the OMM/OPP curriculum across all four years.
• Lead faculty development and assessment for osteopathic education.
• Collaborate with COM chairs to ensure vertical and horizontal integration.
• Teach in face-to-face classroom and clinical skills settings.
• Engage in research and scholarly activity in osteopathic medicine.
• Provide student advising and mentoring.
