Qualifications

  • DO or MD with AOA/ABMS cert or eligibility in designated clinical field; teaching experience.
  • Commitment to Baptist University Health Sciences mission and vision.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 (Word/Outlook/PowerPoint/Excel).
  • Ability to stand/sit for periods and pass pre-employment screenings.
  • Unrestricted Tennessee teaching/practice licensure or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care in OMM settings (outpatient and inpatient).
  • Deliver OPP/OMM instruction across all four DO years, including labs and simulations.
  • Serve as Course Director or Co-Director as assigned.
  • Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and improvement.
  • Advise and mentor students academically and in research.
  • Engage in service to the college and community through committees and outreach.
  • Contribute to scholarly activity through research or educational innovation.
