Job summary

Hedge is hiring a founding wholesale broker to build and own our casualty and excess practice in San Francisco. You will combine retail-agency relationships, market judgment, placement craft, and relentless follow-through to produce durable revenue in general liability, excess, umbrella, and complex casualty risks.

You will own a focused agency pipeline, qualify risks, shape submissions, negotiate terms, and drive placements from intake through bind, while developing strong relationships with

Qualifications

• At least three years of brokerage, underwriting, or closely related experience in casualty and excess.
• Strong network and sharp market judgment; ability to manage details without losing momentum.
• Willingness to work in a fast-growing startup environment and on-site in San Francisco.
