The Role

As Founding Business Analyst, you’ll work directly with the executive team to drive critical business decisions, uncover key insights, and build the operational systems that power growth. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, operations, strategy, and finance — structuring models, diagnosing bottlenecks, and enabling fast, data-driven execution across the company. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape a company from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Strategic Insight: Analyze customer behavior, vendor performance, and product engagement to surface trends and support go-to-market strategy, pricing, and operational decisions.
• Support Financial Planning: Build and maintain models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning. Track key metrics and validate core assumptions tied to growth and efficiency.
• Enable Operational Excellence: Create reporting tools and dashboards that drive execution across teams. Identify friction points and recommend scalable improvements across the platform.
• Inform Product Development: Conduct competitor research, user interviews, and internal analysis to shape roadmap priorities and provide feedback loops to the product team.

What You Bring

• A structured, analytical mindset with a strong grasp of business fundamentals
• Fluency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with SQL or BI tools like Looker or Tableau
• Ability to communicate clearly and translate data into concise, actionable insights
• A self-starter mentality — you thrive in ambiguity and take ownership from day one
• Experience working in or around startups, fast-paced operating environments, or with executive teams
