Job description

Our client is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst to lead business analysis efforts for large, multi-line projects and new customer implementations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of IT systems, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis efforts for large-scale implementations and multi-line projects.
• Gather, analyze, and document internal and client user requirements.
• Own the requirements management process, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives.
• Develop and execute a requirements management plan for assigned projects.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and discussions to capture business needs.
• Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, IT teams, and clients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of software requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, including process diagrams, wireframes, and report mock-ups.
• Ensure timely delivery of documentation and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including executive-level presence.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of experience documenting software and system requirements.
• Software requirements gathering and elicitation.
• Functional and technical specification documentation.
• Acting as a liaison between business and IT teams, translating business requirements into actionable development tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to claims management processes and system requirements is a plus but not required.
