Job summary

Sam’s Club in Lathrop, CA is opening a brand-new club and seeks a Backroom Associate to help build a first-class operation from day one. As a founding team member, you’ll receive shipments, organize merchandise, and support safe, accurate backroom processes that keep the store running smoothly for members.

You’ll join a collaborative team, learn our processes, and contribute to inventory accuracy and operational excellence in a high-volume environment with weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process shipments per company procedures.
• Verify merchandise counts and route items to appropriate areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized backroom and uphold safety standards.
• Support inventory accuracy and shrink reduction.
