Job summary

Sam’s Club Tomball is opening a brand-new club and is seeking a dependable Backroom Associate to help bring it to life. As part of the founding Tomball team, you will receive, unload, and organize shipments, support receiving, and ensure inventory accuracy to keep the operation running smoothly.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with teammates, follow safety standards, and contribute to a culture of excellence from day one.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification or will obtain within 30 days of entry date.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process shipments following procedures.
• Verify merchandise counts, organize receiving reports, route merchandise.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe backroom and receiving area.
• Track and process claims, including damaged goods and returns.
• Prepare and manage clearance and liquidation items.
• Operate equipment safely and follow safety guidelines.
• Conduct safety checks and report unsafe conditions.
• Support inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.
