Sam’s Club Visalia is opening a brand-new club and seeking founding team members for backroom roles. You’ll help establish operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and support a fresh culture of excellence from day one. Join a fast-paced, collaborative environment as a founding associate and help shape the member experience.

You’ll receive shipments, organize merchandise, maintain a safe backroom, and contribute to seamless club operations with growth opportunities and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification OR will obtain within 30 days of job entry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Maintains accurate and efficient operations.
• Comfortable with equipment and following safety procedures.
• Team player with clear communication.
• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process shipments in accordance with company procedures.
• Verify merchandise counts, organize receiving reports, and route merchandise to appropriate areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and receiving area.
• Track and process claims, including damaged goods and returned merchandise.
• Prepare and manage clearance and liquidation items.
• Operate equipment safely and follow all safety standards.
• Conduct safety checks and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Support inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.
