Sam’s Club is opening a brand-new club in Tomball, TX, and we’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to help bring it to life. As a founding Backroom Associate, you’ll shape the member experience, support club operations, and contribute to a culture of excellence from day one.

In this role, you will receive shipments, organize merchandise, maintain backroom operations, and support a fast-paced, high-volume environment while ensuring safety and accuracy in every task.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process shipments in accordance with company procedures.
• Verify merchandise counts, organize receiving reports, and route merchandise to appropriate areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and receiving area.
• Track and process claims, including damaged goods and returned merchandise.
• Prepare and manage clearance and liquidation items.
• Operate equipment safely and follow all company safety standards and guidelines.
• Conduct safety checks and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Support inventory accuracy, reduce shrink, and maintain proper merchandise handling.
