Job summary

Ersilia is seeking a world-class Applied AI Engineer to build the core AI systems powering hardware engineering workflows for global enterprises. You will design and post-train agents that retrieve, interpret, and manipulate complex design data, deeply integrating with enterprise engineering environments.

The role is deeply technical and high-impact, with early-hire ownership of mission-critical systems and a strong emphasis on customer experience and rapid production cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ML, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of LLM architectures and agent research trends
• Proficient in PyTorch, Hugging Face, and W&B; proven production ML experience
• Experience with search and information retrieval
• Based in SF or willing to relocate; exceptional remote candidate considered

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core workflows for hardware engineering agents
• Build agents to interpret and manipulate complex engineering data
• Collaborate with customers and engineering to deliver AI-powered workflows
• Prototype rapidly and ship frequently; influence product architecture
• Own mission-critical systems end-to-end
