Job summary

Future PLC is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to build and ship AI-powered features that improve our product experience and business outcomes. This hands-on role covers the full lifecycle from concept to production — design, validation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

You'll work at the intersection of AI, product, and engineering, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact opportunities, prototype quickly, and validate with real users.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and production-grade service experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI agents that serve real users with tool-calling LLMs and streaming outputs.
• Design evaluation harnesses and quality scoring using Langfuse and rubrics.
• Own the full loop from prototyping to deployment and monitoring.
• Improve reliability, latency, and cost via caching, token budgets, retries, and observability.
• Create tool integrations with Pydantic validation and local data search.
